This straight-through ball valve—featuring a female threaded connection at one end and a double-ferrule compression fitting at the other—is a custom-engineered instrumentation valve with mixed port types. Machined from a single forged piece of 316L stainless steel, it utilizes a 90-degree handle for rapid actuation, enabling full-flow operation or complete shut-off isolation. The female threaded end connects to male-threaded equipment or manifold ports, while the double-ferrule end directly grips rigid stainless steel tubing; by integrating both connection types into a single valve, it eliminates the need for adapters and is specifically designed for hybrid piping configurations where one end requires a threaded connection and the other a rigid tube connection. As a custom product, port specifications and pressure ratings can be tailored to requirements. It is intended solely for on/off isolation—not for long-term throttling in a partially open state—and is commonly used in applications such as instrumentation sampling, equipment take-offs, and system retrofits involving a mix of new and existing piping.
